Above are two recent self-portraits I created in response the debut of my exhibition Harmonoia. The aim of the pieces is to explore my own feelings towards venturing into the art scene in Bristol and the complex emotions I felt opening myself up to the public. Given the lack of a fine arts background, the experience was somewhat surreal to me and a sense of imposter syndrome was definitely evident during points of the opening event. I aim to create more responsive art in the future.
